In our modern laboratory equipped with the latest facilities our specialists grade diamonds according to the internationally recognised 4C method. Grading includes analysing the origins of the diamond, synthetic or natural, and analysing whether it subsequently underwent any form of treatment.

The Four Cs in Diamond Grading

To establish the value and the quality of diamonds it is an internationally established practice to grade according to the 4 Cs:

  • Carat the weight in carats (ct.) 1 ct. = 0.2 grams

  • Clarity the purity of the diamond

  • Color colourless grades from D to Z, colour grades from light to fancy deep

  • Cut cutting style and quality

Our grading procedure includes analysing the origins of the diamond, synthetic or natural, and analysing whether it subsequently underwent any form of treatment. We grade according to the rules proposed by IDC (International Diamond Council) that are considered internationally valid. According to these rules a very reliable analysis is possible

We offer grading with no monetary appraisal or with valuation according to specific trade categories.

  • Weight: 1.04 ct.
  • Colour: exceptional white (E)
  • Clarity: vs 2 (very small inclusions)

  • Grading without value appraisal: 191 EUR incl. 20% VAT
